The company was founded in 1950 under the name Slavko Rodic, producing a wide range of products supporting the defense industry. Since 1997, it has been operating under the name Binas d.d. Bugojno. Binas d.d. has a long-standing tradition in the development and production of specialized equipment, including: Artillery, mortar, and rocket fuzes Various types of 40 mm ammunition, short and long range Gun primers Hand grenades The company operates both traditional and modern production lines, some equipped with the latest technology and supported by highly skilled personnel, ensuring precision, reliability, and quality at every stage of production. All finished products undergo testing according to MIL standards to guarantee their functionality, reliability, and compliance with technical requirements before delivery to customers.

Born on February 15, 1959. Doctor of Technical Sciences at the University of Zenica, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He first gained work experience as an assistant at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica from 1995 to 2011. Constructor at MMK Bratstvo Novi Travnik from 1981 to 1991, after which he was assistant director for production until 1996 and then director of BNT Machine and Hydraulics Factory Novi Travnik from 1996 to 2003. After that, he became director of the Institute of Industrial Engineering Zenica until 2004 and then returned to the position of director of BNT from 2004 to 2011, after which he remained in the position of designer. Since 2021, he has been director of Binas dd Bugojno.
