I am sure that Binas dd will be one of the main foundations on which the future of Bugojno and Bosnia and Herzegovina will develop, said the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH and Minister of Defense of BiH Zukan Helez, ambassadors of several countries, military-diplomatic representatives (VDP) in BiH, and representatives of EUFOR visited the Binas dd factory in Bugojno today.
The host of the visit was Binas Director Abaz Mandžuka, and the delegation toured the capacities of the Binas dedicated industry and attended the screening of a short film that presented the perspective of the Bugojno-based company.
During his address to the media, the Minister of Defense of BiH emphasized that this company was in complete disarray two years ago, and today many people want to work at Binas.
– Today we are visiting Binas for the second time with ambassadors and other foreign representatives in BiH. Through work, dedication, and persistent lobbying abroad, we have made Binas dd Bugojno a beautiful story in Bosnia and Herzegovina today. I am sure that Binas dd will be one of the main foundations on which the future of Bugojno and BiH will develop. I am proud of the workers, engineers, and of course the management of this company. I am especially pleased that the employees here are developing new technologies, said Helez.
The director of Binas looked back on the previous period and said that they do not intend to stop hiring.
– We currently have more than 400 workers, and since 2022 we have had a tendency to increase the number of employees, with regular settlement of obligations to everyone, and this year the workers were paid one-time financial assistance twice. Thanks to Minister Helez and his commitment to helping Binas and the people who work in the factory, we have managed to grow and survive, said Mandžuka.
The press conference was also addressed by the Ambassador of Palestine to BiH, Rezeq Namoora, who expressed his satisfaction that he had the opportunity to better learn about the work and production of that company today.
– I hope and am certain that your production will be used for the defense of countries and people, not for attacks, said Namoora.
Helez, delegations of ambassadors, VDP and EUFOR in BiH also visited the Blue Hospital and Tito's Villa, places in the Bugojno area that are of interest to foreign investors, the Public Relations Office of the BiH Ministry of Defense announced.
